The Smart Donkey

Here you are 2 different ways to save money:

• If your own transportation is part of the luggage carrying tour, you can save money. For example, to go from St Jean Pied de Port to Roncevales at 8'30 am together with the bags, it will cost you 15 euros per person. At 10 am, it would cost you 36 euros.
• If you fill in the free seats within an already existing group, the fare would be even cheaper. On the welcoming page of our website, you will find a whole list of those left seats at very interesting fares.

Payment

The luggage fares could be purchased at the end of the tour (French cheques or cash). 

Til today, we did not ask for an advance fee. You might be asked for some in some cases. You will be known about that.

Our service are for all the pilgrims who want to take their car back after the trip, those who want to come back to St jean pied de Port to catch a train, those who arrive in the airport and who need to go to St Jean Pied de Port and start hiking, those who don't want do the way between St Jean Pied de Port and Roncesvalles again.

• Spain: from St Jean Pied de Port til Burgos ( for ex : Roncevales, Pampelona, Logrono, Sto Domingo de la Calzada, etc...)
• St Jean Pied de Port til Roncevales: several times a day. This transportation which is very popular is done every day at different time, upon request.
• We can also pick you up in some places in a reasonable distance off the Way of St James:

Almost every day, we do transportations to St Jean pied de Port from Biarritz airport and from Pamplona (airport, bus and train station) and a regular transportation from Pau or Bilbao airports.
