The Express Bourricot business is a service that guarantees the transport of luggage and people on the Way of St James.

Our office is in St Jean Pied de Port, at number 31, Rue de la Citadelle, a few steps away from the pilgrims' welcome center.
It has been eight years now that Caroline, Laure, Iban and Gaël make the mobility of pilgrims easier on their way on the Camino. We perfectly know this part of the track, which enables us to answer efficiently to hikers' demand.
We work with individual hikers, groups, all kind of walkers (couples, families, associations, travel agencies, etc...). Strong of this experience, we suggest varied and personalized services adapted to all sorts of budgets.
We own 3 vans to guarantee an on-time service, flexible and adapted, as close as possible of your demand.
Step by step, the Express Bourricot carries backpacks or luggage between St Jean Pied de Port and Roncesvalles. Lots of pilgrims chose this type of service because it offers significant advantages: you walk light weighted, you avoid tendinitis, you don't hurt your back and you find back all your stuff dry, after your day walk. But, more so, you can engaged yourself more confidently on this special step: the most difficult one in the Camino Francés.
At the bus arrival, from a train station or an airport, we drive the pilgrims on the track, to a rest house or a hotel. After the trip, we come and pick them up, we drive them back to their vehicles or to their house. If the famous climbing of the Roncevalles pass seems difficult to handle, we drive you directly through to Roncevalles.
Now, we work also on the Pyrénées cross trekking: GR10 and HRP. We help groups, following them by car, transporting their luggage, shortening their steps by bringing them directly to a pass, ...

 Cultural stays:
It has been two years now we suggest you a way on the French Camino. For groups between five and eight people. Within nine days, we drive the whole way from Saint Jean Pied de Port til Santiago. Walks and visits with a van.

 Accompanied hikes:
Caroline is also a mountain guide and organises accompanied stays to discover the Basque Country and the Picos de Europa in the Asturias, Spain. You might be interested in that discovery!!!
